Some of our patients come to us worried that they may be predisposed to cardiac problems. These patients might have a family history of heart disease, for example, and they want to know whether they have a congenital defect or are likely to develop cardiac problems in the future.
Many of our patients are suffering from a preexisting, already-diagnosed heart problem. These patients are referred to us for ongoing treatment. These patients are seeking expert help and often benefit from the NSHC’s ability to offer sophisticated diagnosis, specialist cardiac interventions or comprehensive lifestyle management plans.
A large proportion of patients referred to the NSHC suffer from symptoms we call atypical chest pains, that is, chest pains of an unknown origin. Understandably, sufferers of these symptoms are concerned that they may be the result of some underlying disease.
